On a plot of land of 4000 sq.m. the construction of a holiday home of 110 sq.m. (or 120 sq.m.) is being studied. The interest is focused on the creation of a monolithic structure of reinforced concrete which is invested in the external perimeter of the building with local stone. The concrete structure strictly obeys a grid of 3.6X3.6 m. or 4.00X4.00 m. depending on the needs of the house. The study condenses a course of research on the subject of the holiday home. The proposal constitutes an ideal type of house with standardized sizes and simple rational construction, and places itself within the problematic of the “post-Constantinian era”.
