The functions of the residence are organized in two elongated, superimposed building volumes, parallel to the slope, which contain the courtyard and the swimming pool in zones between them, leaving in front of the lower and more private volume of the bedrooms an open balcony facing the view. This simple arrangement is crossed by a vertical staircase that connects all these parts of the house to each other, thus functioning as a vertical entrance and ensuring communication in the development of the house from top to bottom. The staircase adds theatricality to all open spaces, as well as serving as a seating\/stand area that supervises. The entire complex is being boxed in. Parallel to the slope, the building volumes are the ones that create the enclosure, while perpendicular to it, two parallel inclined enclosure walls enclose the entire complex. The slope of these walls is followed by the planted roofs so that the house transforms into a terrain formation similar to the dry stone walls of the Cycladic landscape.<\/p>\n
