Under the title “Solitudarity” (or “Solidaritude”) a series of six drawings on A3 millimeter paper are commenting on how architectural space define bodies in a distance. Moreover beds, windows and doors are the modules of distance and nearness of bodies, in their singularity. Architecture simultaneously modifies solitude and solidarity. “Solitudarity” (or “Solidaritude”) the synthetic word for this enigmatic field between distance and nearness that gets its ultimate tension when people are brought together under the collective threat of death.

The drawings are representations either of doors and windows in a vertical plane, like a facade of an apartment building, or single beds, in a horizontal plane, like a room plan of a school or a hospital. Doors and beds are put in a grid of a distance of 1,50 meters. The drawings are under the scale of 1:50. In the scale of 1:50 the size of a single bed is 2X4cm, similar to the size of a door. 2X4cm is an orthogonal space that can appropriately encapsulate a typical human fingerprint in scale 1:1.
